Cliffs of dover is on par with this where it does some things better while this game does other things better. DCS is a close 2nd, however it just does not have the damage model or the aircraft variety. You have mission generators like PWCG which with the satisfactory air combat AI and the authentic battles you can have there is really nothing else that comes close. Its c omplex and to work with tanks, you pretty much have to script everything as far as movement is concerned. its not like DCS or Arma where missions can be thrown together in 5-10 minutes. But the tanks vs AI is a bit lacking from a coop standpoint and the mission making software tends to be really finicky to use. But they tend to work best on the multiplayer servers like finish virtual war since you actually go up against people in conjuncture with Aircraft which help you spot and destroy enemy tanks. And 2 is lacking infantry which just feels a bit lacking in many of these tank battles.ĭon't get me wrong. The big issue with the ground content right now is its 1 lacking decent ai which requires a high level of scripting to get a decent tank battle against AI. ![]() Now that being said, I would double check the ground content to see if its what you want.
